Come along and see Sandie Docker discuss her second heart-warming and charming novel, set in the small Australian coastal town of Rosella Cove.

Sandie, in her trademark manner, has created warm and charming characters to address current social issues. Strikingly honest she writes about concerns such as the identity struggle for women who are unable to have children, to losing your sense of self in a relationship, the destructive quality of alcoholism for families and the struggle to reconcile your expectations of life with its reality.

Incredibly heart-warming, The Cottage at Rosella Cove is a poignant exploration of a touching friendship that crosses generations, of community and of finding your family.

Murray A. Byfiled

Library Lover’s Day and we are talking about ghosts, haunted houses & creepy cemeteries. Why not?

Muswellbrook Library presents Murray Byfield for this fascinating talk. Murray has well over ten years’ experience as a Paranormal Investigator and has conducted hundreds of public and private investigations in this time.

Murray has been fascinated by the unexplained all his life and has been running his own paranormal information website.

The Hunter Valley is one of the oldest and most haunted regions of Australia. Its colonial history stretches right back to the early 1800’s, when the area was originally founded as a penal colony for the worst of the worst convicts.

Death by execution, murder, suicide and disease were commonplace. Do the spirits of these unfortunate souls still haunt the locations of their deaths?
