Do you have a library fine? We have great news! Members of the Upper Hunter Library Network are encouraged to visit the library during August and take advantage of our fine amnesty.

During August, our Libraries will waive outstanding library fees when you visit one of branches. When you visit, just mention the amnesty and we will waive any outstanding fines on your account. It's that easy! In exchange, we ask that any customers who are able to, donate a non-perishable canned food item to be given to local homeless support organisations. If you are not in a position to make a donation that's fine too - just come in an visit and we will waive your fines.

Between Tuesday, 1st August and Thursday, 31st August, you can clear your library account of fees for a fresh start in the new financial year while making a difference within your local community. In the spirit of giving, we also encourage those without fees and fines to donate to help us give to those in need this winter.

Donations and fee waivers can be made during opening hours at each of the seven Upper Hunter Library Network branches including Aberdeen, Cassilis, Denman, Merriwa, Murrurundi, Muswellbrook and Scone Libraries.
